Been very busy trying to sort out the house before the baby arrives! Changing the car has been very stressful...but we are getting there with the nursery.

My friends are throwing a baby shower for me next month... which will be very festive. As everyone keeps asking me about gifts, I've created one on a cool website called 'Gifts and Lists' - you can choose products from anywhere. I think it'll make the baby shower and Christmas presents so much easier!

Small Bump

Finally got around to updating my blog! Oops!

Feeling good... but a little worried my bump is small (my neighbour is huge and only six weeks ahead of me!) I'm 25 weeks (5 1/2 months) See pic from this morning!

Bought some lovely maternity jeams from H&M.... great fit and fab value! It's taken me ages to find a pair!

22week scan

Coming up to five months... 22 week scan was amazing.... had a lovely sonographer this time. Baby happy and healthy and kicking away like mad!!

Decided not to find out the sex.... plus baby was crossing his/her legs - so didn't want us to find out either!

Having funny cramps at the moment.... holding off panicking and calling the midwife. I think my poor tummy is just stretching away....ahhh - pass the bio oil

18 Week pic

Definitely feeling bigger now.... not just the belly and boobs... but my whole body seems to be getting bigger.

Haven't signed up for NCT classes yet.... not sure it's my thing! hhhmmmmm.......

What's in a name?

The somewhat 'touchy' subject of names keeps rearing it's head! We have four or maybe five names for a girl... But none (that we agree on) for a boy!

The next question to ask is - do we find out whether bub is pink or blue?

Bump is getting bigger

It's official... Even friends are saying it (not just that I'm sticking out my belly and breathing out)

It's my friends daughters 1st birthday today... Wow how a year flys by! We bought a cute little Cardigan from
Next and a toy for bath time! She's been such a star with all the baby advice - it's so nice to have someone to turn to or moan at!

Still tired and feeling sh*tty... When does the blooming start again?!! I'm now 17weeks gone and still look like death warmed up!

Relaxing night planned this eve in front of the tv with TBK! Ooh and it's the BB final too!

Weekend...what weekend?

Had the folks (well Dad and Gran) staying this weekend.... lots of chats about baby names (I have a feeling they don't agree with ours!) Nice to see them.... but nice to have Sunday afternoon back to myself!

And can't believe the X factor is back - it's on up until Christmas (I think) I'll be over 8 months gone then! Ahhh!

16 weeks pregnant and finally I take a photograph!

Hopefully the new blog will encourage me to keep up with the pics! Did anyone else out there have a bigger or smaller bump at 16 weeks?

Finally got the new Twilight book, 'Breaking Dawn' from Amazon today.... so perhaps that will take my mind off the pregnancy for a few days!

Midwife visit No 2

Met midwife no 2 (I share two midwives, Yaz and Chloe)...she was lovely and gave me loads of leaflets to take away! Also got to hear the bubs heartbeat again... which I have to say was a relief  as I tried a home doppler thing that a friend lent me and struggled to find it!

Feeling happy and healthy today... although got a partner at home with man flu. TBK is feeling very sorry for himself at the moment... separate beds tonight again as I don't want to catch it!

First Post - 16 weeks

Bub at 12 weeks

The last 10 weeks have been a real learning curve for me. I've found out what an epidural is, that if you tell a doctor your pregnant, they don't actually test you again and what NCT stands for! I have been sick every morning for about 6 weeks and lost my love for Italian food so much so that even the thought of a lasagne makes me want to heave! However after my first ultrasound scan a few weeks ago it all became real and so worthwhile. 

With this blog I want to document my pregnancy from now onwards (I'm currently 16 weeks) and hopefully give and get some tips from any mothers to be out there!
